James Gillard | Osteopath
James is an experienced Osteopath who is passionate about assisting people through injury and supporting their health.
Since graduating with a Masters in Health Sciences (Osteopathy), James has completed extensive post graduate training in cranial osteopathy and lectured on the subject of pain neurophysiology.
His inquisitive nature, vast knowledge and love of learning, poises him perfectly to hunt for the cause of the problem and help you understand what is occurring and why.
James complements the use of traditional osteopathic techniques with specific movement retraining to help reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
Being a big kid at heart, he is often a favourite with little ones and his gentle approach to treatment is suitable for the whole family. He has a particular interest and experience in working with women throughout pregnancy and babies, as well as complex presentations and chronic pain.
Away from the office, James loves being a part of the community, is happy when surrounded by nature (without shoes where possible), is an aspiring vegetable gardener and a part time musician.
